Lawsuit Alleges Priscilla Presley Played a Role in Elvis Presley’s Death

A bombshell amended lawsuit against Priscilla Presley has expanded far beyond a standard business dispute, now accusing Elvis Presley’s former wife of contributing to the legendary singer’s death nearly five decades ago. Filed by her former business partners, Bridget Cruz and Kevin Fial, the complaint paints a deeply troubling picture of alleged financial pressure, manipulation, and a long-standing pattern of conduct that the plaintiffs claim ultimately pushed Elvis toward an early grave.

The lawsuit originally focused on business-related claims, including breach of contract, fraud, and interference with economic advantage. Cruz and Fial allege that they were recruited to manage and monetize Priscilla Presley’s name, image, and likeness, investing substantial time and money into growing her brand. According to the complaint, once their efforts began to yield financial success, they were allegedly cut out of future deals and left uncompensated.

However, the amended complaint significantly escalates the allegations by revisiting Priscilla Presley’s divorce from Elvis in the early 1970s. Court documents cited by the plaintiffs state that Priscilla waived any right to inherit from Elvis’s estate as part of their 1972 divorce agreement. Despite this, the lawsuit alleges that she later sought to renegotiate the settlement out of what it describes as “pure greed,” forcing Elvis to agree to dramatically increased financial payouts.

According to the filing, Elvis ultimately paid Priscilla millions of dollars in today’s value, including large lump sums, ongoing spousal support, and proceeds from the sale of property. The complaint further alleges that Priscilla placed a substantial lien on Graceland in April 1977, just months before Elvis died from heart failure and drug-related complications.

The plaintiffs claim that this financial pressure contributed to Elvis’s deteriorating mental and physical health. While acknowledging Elvis’s well-documented struggles with prescription drugs, the lawsuit argues that Priscilla’s actions created overwhelming stress that exacerbated his condition. The filing stops short of claiming she was the sole cause of his death, but asserts that her conduct was a contributing factor.

Priscilla Presley’s legal team has strongly denied the allegations, calling them absurd, defamatory, and disconnected from reality. Her attorney has publicly dismissed the claims as conspiracy-driven and promised aggressive legal action against the plaintiffs.
